High-Performance desiccant rotor

The desiccant rotor consists of a honeycomb structure made of fibreglass, coated with highly hygroscopic silica gel. The flutes provide an enormous internal surface area, enabling efficient and effective moisture transfer. The rotor material is non-flammable and non-respirable and are largely maintenance-free.

Quiet, efficient, reliable

The Condair DA 4400–12000 range features a fully insulated, double-walled Magnelis® housing with 30 mm mineral wool for quiet, efficient operation. Optional AISI 304 stainless steel casings are available. Premium EC radial fans in push configuration move regeneration and process air over the rotor under positive pressure, ensuring reliable operation even at very low humidity.

Tailored drying solutions

The Condair DA 4400–12000 range adapts to your drying needs, offering PLC with touch screen, pre- and post-cooling, full modulating capacity control, heat recovery and electrical or steam regeneration. Special configurations for extremely low dewpoints are possible. Network integration via Modbus or BACnet ensures seamless industrial or commercial operation.

The Condair DA 4400–12000 series offers a wide range of customisations to meet specific customer requirements. Available accessories include advanced PLC variants, pre- and/or post-cooling coils mounted on the unit or in separate modules, filter guards, and full modulating capacity control. Alternative reactivation heating sources, such as steam, hot water, or a combination with electrical reactivation, can be used to reduce operating expenses. All units operate reliably across a standard range of 0–40 °C and 0–100 % relative humidity. Units can be modified for lower temperatures or outdoor installation, ensuring effective dehumidification in almost all conditions.

What control options are available on the Condair DA 4400-12000?

The Condair DA 4400–12000 units are equipped by default with a PLC with touchscreen. The PLC controls all internal processes, including alarm and service management. A moisture sensor can be connected to enable the unit to control humidity independently. Alternatively, dehumidification capacity can be controlled via a humidity controller or an external building management system using on/off or 0–10 V / 0–100 % capacity control. More advanced PLC options are available, which can also regulate the temperatures of cooling coils. Connectivity with building management systems via Modbus (TCP/IP or RTU) or BACnet is also available.
